As most of you know, my sister had to have major surgery. It was an elective surgery but it is going to take some time before she makes a full recovery. I am here in Nashville, TN with my Mom to help her for the weekend. My Mom has been here for a week and plans on staying for at least another four to five days. My grandparents will be here on Wednesday to take her to her next appointment. I will have to admit that my sister looks totally different. I know that once she is not in pain and somehwat back to her normal self...she will be really happy with everything. I know she is a trooper and is a lot stronger than I could ever be.
Right now, we are just having "family bonding time." :) We can't really go anywhere but it is nice to be able to just see her for myself and know that she is ok! I am so tired (even after sleeping for 10 hours) because I got up at 5:30 am, went to work till about 4:00 pm, then drove 5 hours to Nashville, TN...so I am a little exhausted. :(
Well, I need to get off here to help my Thissy! Oh, you might be asking why I call her "Thissy?" It is a hilarious story that I will try to share later with you. It is one of those stories that you can't forget once it happened and ever since...we have called each other "Thissy!!!" :)
