ENFJ?

For one of my summer classes, I had to take the Keirsey Tempermant Sorter Personality Test. There are a series of 70 questions that you answer and then add your scores according to whether you picked an "a" or "b" answer. A little more calculation and then you are shown your tempermance and intellegent types. Apparently, I am an ENFJ which means that I am mentor or teacher. (Maybe I should go back into teaching?) Anyway, I am considered an "idealist" which is considered my temperament. Here is what Keirsey says about them...

"Idealists are introspective and cooperative. Healers, Counselors, Champions and Teachers are the role variants contained within this category. Idealists seek meaning and significance and are concerned with finding their own unique identity. Their greatest strength is diplomatic intelligence. They excel at clarifying, unifying, individualizing, and inspiring."

My role is a mentor..."Mentors are introspective, cooperative, and directive. Counselors and Teachers are the two role variants of the directive Idealists."
Doesn't sound so bad, 'eh? :)

Just thought I would share. Guess I will be calling myself an ENFJ from now on. Maybe these personality tests are right. Hmmmm.....

Summer School....

Back to school...UGH!!! :) Summer school began a few weeks ago and it is kinda hard to get back in the swing of things. The deal with five week classes is that instead of having one assignment per week per class...you have about three assignments per week per class. This means that since I am taking two classes...that is A LOT of homework! But on the up-side, only two more weeks after this week to go! YEAH!!! Then I will have about two weeks off before the fall semester starts. I am ready to be done for awhile.

Other that that...things are pretty normal around here. Kelie's Bachelorette Party was a lot of fun. I miss hanging out with the girls from high school...they are a BLAST!!! Love you guys....

Kelie's Bachelorette Party...

On Saturday, is Kelie's Bachelorette Party!!! I can't believe it is already time for her wedding (only about a month and a half to go.) I feel like my wedding just got over and now we have another one. :) I am in charge of the Bachelorette Party and of course...Mandy was too but she is bailing out on me for this American Idol thing? go figure! ;) So now...some of us are meeting at Kelie's for dinner on Saturday then everyone is meeting at her house later to board the party bus then on to the bars! LOL It is so funny because I never go out anymore and it should be a good time. I definitely need to have some fun!!! :)

I hope Kelie has a good time because here shortly she is going to be married. You know what they say once you are married...all the fun stops. LOL However, I disagree...I say the fun has just begun!!!!

Nina Mary Deakins...

I wanted to take the time to say "thanks" for all of the thoughts and prayers for the passing of my step-gradmother, Nina Mary Deakins. She passed away on July 5, 2008 at the age of 75. She is the mother of my step-father and she will be greatly missed.

I didn't get to spend as much time with her as I would have liked but she will never be forgotten. ((HUGS))

Latin Ghosts?

Okay, I know the title is a bit weird but there have been some weird things happening with my television in my bedroom. For the past few months, my husband and I have been noticing that the television will change channels on its own. Particularly one channel in particular...the latin HBO channel. :) I will be watching T.V. and it will just change on its own to that channel. SPOOKY!

Now, sometimes glitches happen but the other night I was watching television. All of a sudden something hit the remote and this is the sequence that happened. First, "it" hit the DVR button then went down to "Kathy Griffin: Life on the D-List" and started the program. Not only did they start the program but fast forwarded it to a few minutes into the program and they pressed play. Hmmmm....a bit strange if you ask me. It of course is really freaking Trent out. The channels change all the time but only on the T.V. in the bedroom. Since I am a BIG fan of Ghost Hunters I have thought about setting up EVP in the bedroom but then if I did catch something....it would really freak me out! :O So...I might just continue to see what happens. I am the first person who lived in this house but like they always say...you never know what happened on that ground before houses were built there! W00000000.

Stay tuned....

Happy Birthday Mom....

Happy Birthday Mommy! I hope you had a great birthday because I had a BLAST! Well, except for your shoes. LOL Plus, the night ended off with a bang...literally. WHEW! You are a strong, beautiful woman and I am so glad that God picked you to be my mother. I wouldn't want to have it any other way.

Hope you enjoyed your cake and presents! ((HUGS))
